People
People are a company's true capital. That's why we do everything we can to ensure people enjoy their work. We treat them as we would like to be treated ourselves. This starts with an informal work environment where employees are quickly given responsibility and work independently. If someone has qualities and ambitions, there are opportunities for training and career advancement.
Naturally, we also ensure that working conditions are safe and healthy at our two production sites. Even though we've grown significantly over the past century, Stolk Flora still embodies the culture of a true family business. A company where we understand that we do it together.
Environment
As a grower, you are automatically close to nature. This is especially true for Stolk Flora. We are well aware that our work has an impact on the environment. That's why we constantly ask ourselves: how can we reduce these effects? We do this in numerous ways. For example, by using as many organic products as possible in our cultivation. Or by avoiding products that are harmful to bees. We generate the electricity we use ourselves. What we don't need, we feed back into the grid. (Good for 3,000 households per year!) We use rainwater for our plants. Water that we also recycle after use. We separate waste as much as possible so that it can be reused.
Society
Stolk Flora is a company firmly rooted in society. We do this, among other things, by supporting causes that we believe need a boost. Organizations, foundations, and associations, especially at the local level, can count on our support.
